  • General – You must have secured minimum 60% marks in aggregate in Bachelor’s degree, 12th Standard exam, and 10th Standard exam from a recognized institute.
  • DEPR – You must have a Master’s degree in Economics / Econometrics / Quantitative Economics / Mathematical Economics / Integrated Economics / Finance with minimum 55% marks from a recognized University.
  • DSIM – You must have a Master’s degree in Statistics / Mathematical Statistics / Mathematical Economics / Econometrics / Statistics & Informatics / Applied Statistics & Informatics or Mathematics and one year post graduate diploma in Statistics or M. Stat degree in Indian Statistical Institute or Post Graduate Diploma in Business Analytics with minimum 55 marks in aggregate from a reputed institute like IIT.

Number of Attempts

You can attempt the exam maximum 6 times. However, there is no limit for SC, ST, PwD, and OBC category.

RBI Grade B Selection Process

The Grade B selection Process consist of 3 phases:

  • Phase I – Objective type Questionnaire for 200 marks.
  • Phase II – Descriptive Test for 300 marks.
  • Interview – Comprises of 50 marks.

State Bank of India had conducted the SBI PO exam on 1st July 2018. The exam will continue on 7th and 8th July 2018. According to the exam held on Sunday, we have analysed and prepared this expected SBI PO cut off for 2018. Based on the feedback we received from students, the paper was moderate in difficulty level. However, since sectional timing was applicable, the students had to choose the questions to attempt very carefully. If careful selection of easy and less time-consuming questions were not done, it led to poor overall exam performance. Also, the English section has new types of question this time. RBI has released notification for the recruitment of 166 Grade B posts. RBI has released an advertisement in a Hindi Newspaper giving partial details of the RBI Grade B Recruitment. According to the Hindi Newspaper cutting – The applications would be accepted in online mode only and would begin from 3rd July 2018 and go on till 23rd July 2018. All details like the release of Official notification, vacancies, Selection process, online application form, all other instructions as well as DEPR/DSIM will be available on the official website of RBI from 3rd July 2018.

The Grade B selection takes place in three phases:

  • Phase 2: Descriptive Test for 300 marks
  • Phase 3: Personal Interview for 50 marks

Phase I of the Exam will be conducted online. The Exam duration is 2 hours. Negative marking is 0.25 for each wrong answer.

Phase-II online Examination:

The Phase-II online Examination will be conducted on July 7, 2017, only for the candidates who are shortlisted on the basis of results of Phase I. The Phase-II examination will be in shifts and candidates have to appear for all shifts. Phase–II online examination will consist of three papers as under:
